Receive lead alerts in Microsoft Teams

The Buska Microsoft Teams integration sends every social buying signal to your Teams channel via incoming webhook, in real time. Your sales and marketing team gets buying signal notifications in Teams, where Enterprise organizations already coordinate daily. Each notification arrives with full context: the original post, platform, intent score (0 to 100), keyword match, and a direct reply link. Setup takes 2 minutes with no OAuth required, just a Teams webhook URL per channel. The Buska Microsoft Teams integration is included on every plan starting at $49 per month and works with Microsoft 365 Business Basic at $6 per user per month and above.

How to set up Buska + Microsoft Teams

1

Create an incoming webhook in Teams

In your Microsoft Teams channel, click the three dots next to the channel name > Connectors > Incoming Webhook > Configure. Name it *"Buska"*, optionally upload the Buska logo as the avatar, then click Create and copy the webhook URL. Teams Connectors require admin approval in some Enterprise tenants; ask your IT admin to enable "Allow uploading custom apps" if needed.

Add to Buska

Paste the Teams webhook URL in Buska Settings > Integrations > Microsoft Teams. The connection is instant. Buska stores the webhook URL encrypted at rest with AES-256, and you can revoke access at any time by deleting the webhook in Teams. No engineering required, the whole setup takes under 2 minutes.

Set up role mentions and channels

Route different buying signals to different Teams channels with role mentions: a #hot-leads channel for score 80+ with @sales-team, a #competitor-watch channel with @cs, a #brand-mentions channel with @marketing. Multi-channel routing is on Growth at $99 per month and above.

Monitor and respond

Lead alerts appear in your Teams channel with adaptive card formatting. Click through to Buska to view the lead and reply on the original platform within minutes. Research shows the first vendor to answer a public recommendation request wins the deal about 50% of the time, so time-to-reply is the metric that matters.

Real use cases with Microsoft Teams

Enterprise sales coordination

Large sales teams use Teams channels to coordinate on social leads. Each region (NA, EMEA, APAC) or product line gets its own alert channel. Sales managers review the channel during morning stand-up to spot patterns and load-balance SDRs. Average response time drops below 15 minutes because the team is already in Teams all day.

Marketing-sales alignment

Both marketing and sales see the same social signals in real time in a shared Teams channel. Marketing can prepare content (case studies, comparison pages) while sales prepares outreach. Cross-functional visibility improves win rate by 15 to 25% in B2B teams that adopt this play.

Customer success early warning

A #cs-alerts Teams channel catches negative sentiment from existing customers in real time. The CS team responds within the first hour, which reduces churn risk by 40 to 60% when caught early. Sentiment is filtered below -0.3 on a -1 to +1 scale.

Executive radar

An #executive-radar Teams channel sends only the most strategic mentions to executives: viral threads about your brand, mentions by industry analysts, references in funding announcements of likely customers. Volume stays low (3 to 8 signals per week), but strategic value is high.

Frequently asked questions about Buska + Microsoft Teams

Which Microsoft Teams plans are supported?
Any Microsoft Teams plan that supports incoming webhooks: Microsoft 365 Business Basic at $6 per user per month, Business Standard at $12.50, Business Premium at $22, Microsoft 365 E3 at $36, and E5 at $57. Teams Free (the standalone free plan) supports incoming webhooks too.
Can I send Buska alerts to multiple Teams channels?
Yes. Create separate Teams webhooks for different channels and configure separate filters for each in Buska. Most teams use 3 to 5 Teams channels: #hot-leads (score 80+), #competitor-mentions, #brand-mentions, #customer-feedback, #executive-radar. Multi-channel routing is on Growth at $99 per month and above.
How fast does Buska deliver notifications to Microsoft Teams?
Median latency from the moment a public post appears on a Buska-monitored platform to the corresponding Teams notification is under 30 seconds. P95 latency stays below 2 minutes even at peak load. Teams webhooks have a 4 requests per second rate limit, which is more than enough for typical Buska signal volume.
Does the Buska Teams integration support adaptive cards?
Yes. Buska sends notifications as Microsoft Teams adaptive cards with rich formatting: lead name, post excerpt, intent score badge, platform icon, keyword highlights, and a "View in Buska" button. Adaptive cards render consistently across Teams desktop, mobile, and web clients.
Can I integrate Buska Teams alerts with Power Automate?
Yes. Teams webhook notifications can be picked up by Microsoft Power Automate to trigger downstream workflows: create a Dynamics 365 lead, send an Outlook email, post to SharePoint, log in Excel Online. Power Automate also supports the Buska Webhook integration directly via its HTTP trigger node.
Is the Buska Microsoft Teams integration secure?
Yes. The integration uses Microsoft Teams incoming webhooks, which are scoped to a single channel and require no user-level OAuth. Buska does not read your Teams messages, does not access chats, and cannot post outside the channels you authorize. The webhook URL is encrypted at rest with AES-256.
How much does the Buska Microsoft Teams integration cost?
The Buska Teams integration is included on every plan at no extra cost. Buska plans start at $49 per month (Starter, 3 keywords, 1 Teams channel), $99 per month (Growth, 10 keywords, multi-channel routing), and $249 per month (Scale, 25 keywords, advanced role routing). All plans include a 7-day free trial.
