Push social leads straight into HubSpot
The Buska HubSpot integration turns every social buying signal detected by Buska on Reddit, Twitter / X, LinkedIn, Hacker News, Quora, YouTube, or any of the 30+ platforms we monitor into a HubSpot contact, right after each scan (as often as hourly on Scale). The lead's profile, social post URL, intent score, platform, keyword match, and ICP match score are automatically synced as custom HubSpot properties. No copy-pasting. No manual data entry. Just qualified leads flowing into your CRM right after each scan. Setup takes 5 minutes with a HubSpot private app token. The Buska HubSpot integration is included from the Growth plan and is compatible with HubSpot Free CRM through Enterprise.
What you can do with Buska + HubSpot
- Auto-create HubSpot contacts from high-intent social leads the moment they appear on any Buska-monitored platform
- Sync lead source, platform, intent score, and the original post excerpt to HubSpot custom properties (`buska_score`, `buska_intent`, `buska_content`, `linkedin_url`) for clean reporting and attribution
- Tag every contact with `lead_source = buska-<channel>` (for example `buska-reddit`) so you can filter or build a view on Lead source contains "buska"
- Skip empty records: a lead with neither an email nor a name is not sent, so you never end up with a blank HubSpot contact
- Push leads on demand with a manual export (up to 100 leads per run, mentions and locked leads excluded), or automatically through an automation triggered on new hot leads
- Rely on HubSpot's own duplicate handling: if a contact with the same email already exists, HubSpot rejects the create and Buska treats that as a success instead of retrying
- Use your existing HubSpot workflows (lead scoring, sequences, task creation) on top of the contacts Buska creates, since they are ordinary HubSpot contacts
How to set up Buska + HubSpot
Connect your HubSpot account
Go to Buska settings, click Integrations, and paste a HubSpot private app token. Create it in HubSpot > Settings > Integrations > Private Apps, with the crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.objects.contacts.write scopes (plus crm.schemas.contacts.write so Buska can create its custom fields). You can revoke the token at any time from that same page.
Buska creates its custom properties
The first time you connect a token, Buska creates the 5 custom HubSpot properties it needs (`buska_score`, `buska_intent`, `buska_content`, `linkedin_url`, `hs_lead_status`) so a new portal works out of the box. If your token does not have schema-write access, Buska falls back to the standard HubSpot fields only (name, email, company, job title, phone).
Set your triggers
Define when leads get pushed to HubSpot: manually, up to 100 leads per run (mentions and locked leads excluded), or automatically through an automation with a Manual or new hot lead trigger. This export is available from the Growth plan.
Avoid empty or duplicate contacts
Buska does not send a contact with neither an email nor a name, so you never get a blank HubSpot record. For duplicates, Buska relies on HubSpot's own email-matching: if a contact with the same email already exists, HubSpot rejects the create and Buska treats that as success rather than an error.
Leads flow into HubSpot
Every qualifying lead pushed by Buska appears as a HubSpot contact with full context in its custom properties: the original post excerpt, the intent score, the platform, the lead source. Your sales team works from HubSpot, and prep time drops because the buying intent is already documented.
Iterate weekly
After 2 weeks, look at which keywords and platforms produced the contacts your team actually converted. Drop the noisy keywords, double down on the producers, and raise your intent threshold if you still see noise.
Real use cases with HubSpot
Inbound pipeline from social signals
A SaaS company sets up Buska to monitor buying intent keywords. Every qualifying lead is pushed as a HubSpot contact tagged `lead_source = buska-<channel>`. SDRs filter that view, see the original post, and reply directly, with a real trigger to reference instead of a cold open.
Competitor switch opportunities
When someone publicly posts about leaving a competitor, Buska detects the signal and pushes the contact to HubSpot with the intent field set accordingly. Your team reaches out while the frustration is still fresh, referencing the original post.
Account enrichment
Existing HubSpot contacts who post buying signals are recognized by email match; HubSpot's own duplicate handling keeps a single record per contact instead of creating a second one.
Funding-trigger outreach
Buska detects funding announcements on LinkedIn, Twitter / X, and Hacker News. Contacts tagged with a funding intent land in HubSpot for your team to review and reach out to while the raise is still fresh.
Customer success early warning
Negative sentiment from existing customers, caught as soon as your plan's next scan finds it, can be pushed to HubSpot so the CS team sees it alongside the contact's history and can respond before it spreads.
