Is this post a buying signal? Paste it and find out.

The Buying Intent Checker runs a public post through the same engine Buska uses to qualify leads: an intent judge, a skeptic pass and a final verifier. You get a verdict, a 0-100 score, the type of need and the reason.

Try an example:
0 / 2000 characters

Without it, the post is scored for buying intent in general. With it, the verdict also checks the fit with your offer.

We do not store the text you paste. Only anonymous daily counts are kept.

How the score works

The score is not a new prompt written for this page. It is Buska's own qualification chain, applied to a single post, in four steps:

1. The intent judge

It decides whether the author expresses, in the first person, a current unmet need, explicit shopping ("any recommendations for X?") or a switch ("X is too expensive, we are leaving"). It rates its confidence and the urgency, and picks a quote from the post.

2. The skeptic pass

A second model tries to refute the first one: would a sales rep really reach out, and can this person buy? If it is not convinced, the post cannot be rated as strong intent.

3. The score

Judge confidence, intent type and urgency, weighted by the skeptic's view, give a 0-100 score. 58 and above: strong intent. 38 to 57: possible buyer. Below: weak or no signal.

4. The final verifier

It rereads the post and decides between buyer, related mention or noise. It can lower a post, or lift a borderline one. Its sentence is the explanation you read.

What counts as buying intent

  • The author talks about THEIR situation, in the first person, right now.
  • They have a problem they have not solved, or they ask for options, or they want to leave a tool.
  • It is not a seller introducing themselves, a "5 ways to..." guide, a lessons-learned story or a happy fan.
  • When you say what you sell: your offer would directly solve that need, not a neighbouring one.

What our data says

In our study of 451,903 public posts analyzed over 60 days, only 1.4% were hot buyers. Intent type is the strongest predictor: switching posts were hot 29.3% of the time, posts describing a pain 21.0%, plain shopping requests 18.0%.

Limits, honestly

The engine is tuned not to miss buyers: on a borderline case it would rather flag a post to watch. A high score is a strong signal, not a certainty. Without the "what you sell" sentence, the post is judged on buying intent in general, not on your offer. A pasted post has no date, so the score ignores freshness, while inside Buska an old post is downgraded.

Your data

The text you paste is sent to our model providers to be scored, then it is not kept. We only keep anonymous daily counts (number of checks, verdict mix, cost). Our servers never open links.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if a post is a buying signal?

A post is a buying signal when its author expresses, in the first person, a current unmet need, asks for recommendations or wants to leave a tool. An enthusiastic review, a guide or self-promotion is not. The Buying Intent Checker applies these criteria with Buska's engine.

Is the Buying Intent Checker free?

Yes, it is free and needs no signup. It is limited to 5 checks per hour and 20 per day per visitor, so the tool stays available for everyone.

What does the 0-100 score mean?

It is the score Buska gives to leads. 58 and above means strong buying intent. 38 to 57 means a possible buyer. Below that, the signal is weak or absent. The final verdict can lower a post when a check is not convinced.

Is the text I paste stored?

No. The pasted text is only used for scoring and is not saved. We keep anonymous daily counts only, with no text and no IP address.

Is it the same engine as in Buska?

Yes. The checker runs the same steps Buska uses to qualify posts: intent judge, skeptic pass, score and final verifier. Only the context changes: without your offer, the post is judged on buying intent in general.

Why is "I love this tool" not a buyer?

Because the author has already solved their need. A happy customer is social proof for the vendor, not a sales opportunity. Buyers are the people still looking.

Can I paste a link instead of the text?

No. Paste the text of the post. Our servers never open links, so nothing is fetched on your behalf.
