Google Sheets Integration
What it does
Connect your lead pipeline to a shared Google Sheet. Every time you move a lead into a chosen kanban column (for example "To contact"), Buska automatically adds it as a new row in your spreadsheet, with the fields you selected. Perfect for agencies: share the sheet with a client, qualify leads by dragging them on the board, and the client sees the list update in real time and can mark each lead as qualified or not, directly in the sheet.
Plan required: Growth, Scale
How it works
- You move a lead into one of the kanban columns you picked (Opportunities board)
- Buska appends the lead as a new row in your Google Sheet, in the tab you chose
- Each selected field becomes a column: name, platform, post content, post URL, AI score, kanban column, and more
- Each lead is only ever added once, even if you move it out of the column and back in
- The header row is created automatically on the first export
Setup steps
- In Buska, go to Automations and click Set up on the Google Sheets row (top of the Connected tools list)
- Copy the Buska service email shown in the setup window
- In Google Sheets, open your spreadsheet, click Share and add that email as an Editor (exactly like inviting a teammate)
- Back in Buska, paste the spreadsheet link and click Verify access
- Pick the tab, the kanban columns that should trigger the export, and the fields you want as columns
- Save: the automation turns on and the first lead you move will appear in the sheet
Good to know
- No Google login is required in Buska: sharing the sheet with the service email is the whole connection
- To revoke access at any time, simply remove the Buska email from the sheet sharing settings
- Rows are written as plain values (never formulas), so scraped post content can not affect your spreadsheet
- You can edit, sort and enrich the sheet freely: Buska only ever appends new rows at the bottom
- Each spreadsheet can only be connected to one Buska workspace: nobody else can link, write to, or probe your sheet, even with its URL
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to connect my Google account?
No. You share your spreadsheet with the Buska service email (as an Editor), exactly like inviting a teammate. That share is the whole connection, and removing it revokes access instantly.
When does a lead get added to the sheet?
Whenever you move a lead into one of the kanban columns you selected in the automation. Each lead is only added once, even if it leaves and re-enters the column.
Which fields can I export?
You choose them: date, name, platform, post content, post URL, profile URL, AI score, intent, signal, kanban column, note, and enriched fields like email, company, and title.
Can my client edit the sheet?
Yes. Buska only appends new rows at the bottom. Your client can add their own columns (like a Qualified? column), sort, filter, and comment freely.
Can another Buska user connect my spreadsheet?
No. Each spreadsheet can only be linked to one Buska workspace. Any attempt to verify or connect a sheet that already belongs to another workspace is rejected, and Buska never exposes sheet contents through its API.
